Could you please spell out Teksons’ vision on Gender Diversity?

How do you assess the concept and scope for gender diversity on the shop floor?
Teksons welcomes women friendly policies which help women employees enhance their potential, build new responsibilities, build their careers and change their lives. We train and help in building shop floor skills in women recruited from economically deprived areas. Many of our engineering manufacturing processes are tough and new to shop floor women employees. Enabling them to play their part in building world class heat exchangers is greatly empowering them with confidence which help them take charge of their own lives with economic independence.
How do you ensure safety in the shop floor, especially in the assembly line?
Employees are given on-job and class room trainings related to environment, occupation, health and safety. Work environment monitoring is done regularly related to light, air changes, noise etc. Every quarter, safety committee meets and issues are discussed and actions are worked out. Live fire fighting and mock drill exercises are carried out on regular basis. Photo sensors, safety guards, safety posters are displayed. Safety awareness and competitions are held. Proper tools, equipments and lifting tackles are provided to reduce work fatigue. It is mandatory for employees to use applicable PPE’s and safety shoes while working on shop floor. There are displays at work stations. Safety officer is doing vigilance check frequently to ensure safety is followed in work premises.
What are the major roles assigned to them in shop floor?
Major roles assigned are supervisory and worker level, opportunities are given to learn special skills like aluminium welding, torch brazing, core assembly, leak testing, inspection etc.
